Clinical Counselor – Court Related Programs
Experienced counselor will provide individual or group counseling to individuals in our court related programs. Services would include assessment, treatment planning, and case management. Our court-related counselors work very closely with various referral sources as well as other community providers. Qualified candidates must have a master’s degree in a counseling-related field. Certification as an Addictions Counselor required within 3 years of hire. Minimum of one year of counseling required.
Prevention Coordinator
The role of Prevention Coordinator develops, implements, and oversees alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse prevention programming for all ages and facets of the county. Provides the general public and community partners with education through public presentations as well as distribution of materials.
Qualified applicants will have either a master’s or bachelor’s degree in public health, Human Services, or closely related field and (1) year of experience in human services or educational programming. If not already certified, individuals must be able to obtain professional certification within (3) years of hire date. Strong facilitation and presentation skills required.
Group Counselor
The agency is seeking a part-time group leader to facilitate groups and document client progress per standard procedures. The group would be a minimum of once a week for approximately 1.5 hours. Case notes and other documents would require additional time. Group leaders facilitate clients working on treatment goals developed in their treatment plans. Group leaders maintain contact with each client’s case manager regarding client progress
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in counseling or related field and a LPC, LMSW or LISW license. Certification in Alcohol and drug preferred.
