Intensive Outpatient Counselor

Licensed Counselor needed for Intensive Outpatient Program and Drug Court. Master’s degree and minimum of two years’ experience as a substance use counselor required. Licensure and/or state addictions counselor certification required. Work schedule: Monday through Thursday 10am – 8pm. Position provides assessment services, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, individual, family and group counseling for assigned clients.

Clinical Counselor – Medication Assisted Treatment Program

Unique opportunity for an experienced counselor to work with our medication assisted treatment program (MAT) and provide general counseling services to include: assessment, treatment plan development, individual, group and family counseling, case and crisis management, discharge planning.  Experience working with co-occurring disorders is highly desired.   Qualifications include a Master’s degree in counseling or related field and a LPC, LMSW or LISW license.  Certification as an addiction’s counselor required within 3 years of hire.

Peer Support Specialist

DADC has a current need for a full-time Peer Support Specialist to provide services to clients, their family members, and the community. This position will also assist with referrals to and from our agency and coordinate care for clients. The role is primarily office-based though some delivery may occur outside of the office.  

Peer Support Specialists are people living in recovery who provide support to others who can benefit from their lived experiences.

Applicants should have a minimum of two years of active participation in a local or national self-help group or recovery movement and the ability to demonstrate recovery knowledge and expertise. Certification as a Peer Support Specialist is not required prior to hire.  The ability to successfully complete a 40-hour state alcohol and drug agency (DAODAS) required training is a condition of employment for this position.

Group Counselor

The agency is seeking a part-time group leader to facilitate groups and document client progress per standard procedures. The group would be a minimum of once a week for approximately 1.5 hours. Case notes and other documents would require additional time. Group leaders facilitate clients working on treatment goals developed in their treatment plans. Group leaders maintain contact with each client’s case manager regarding client progress

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in counseling or related field and a LPC, LMSW or LISW license. Certification in Alcohol and drug preferred.
